Meanwhile I found Matt and his two best men; Chris & Jamie, in good spirits at the church. Revd Andrew De Smet was helpful and as my preferred position was going to be housing the string quartet, I found a good position on the bride’s side with the second camera looking up the aisle from the nave. We got some great shots of Emma walking from the Star to St Saviour’s along with her escort. One of the great things about this wedding was that the Church and the TWO hotels involved with the reception and preparations were all within walking distance!
And TWO seems to be the theme for this wedding – two hotels, two best men, two page boys , two ushers and of course Emma & Matt – both with a double letter in their name! After a moving ceremony musically accompanied by the string quartet, the bridal party and wedding guests made their way to the herb garden of The Star for some photos. A great chance for we videographers to move in and around the flora and get some great natural shots. Then on to the Pheasant for the speeches which given the pleasant weather were held in the gardens. The best men, Chris and Jamie had been fellow students of Matt and hence had some very amusing stories to tell, nicely illustrated too! An all round, splendid day – congratulations, Emma and Matt from HD Video Services.
