Despite cheating with my thesaurus, I’m still struggling to find the words to describe Catherine and Chris’s wedding at Ripley Castle on Valentine’s Day this year . . . . it was simply awesome, and more. Firstly, the location – romance and drama, villainy and heroism all feature strongly in the history of Ripley Castle. If walls could talk they would tell tales of kings and queens, war and plagues, eccentric ancestors and ghosts.
Our protagonists were both dressed in white for the civil ceremony, Catherine in a gorgeous full length strapless A line gown and Chris in his naval dress uniform. The vows were unbelievably touching and intimate and Chris brought a tear to many an eye with his heartfelt rendition of Bob Dylans ‘Make you Feel My Love’.

A photo shoot at the lakeside saw Catherine accessorising her outfit with a chic white fur bolero jacket and a pair of wellies (!), after which the newly married Mrs Eng was officially welcomed into the US Navy via a traditional sword arch. A Chinese Dragon dance completed the first part of the proceedings before the guests sat down to enjoy the reception. The day was exciting, colourful and romantic and provided us with some superb footage for the DVD. We are so proud to have been involved in Catherine and Chris’s wedding and we hope they enjoy watching the final edit as much as we enjoyed creating it. We are just completing the edit for this day and as soon as it is finished and delivered to our client we will publish some stills!
