| We do enjoy covering these shows. The children (and the teachers) are so enthusiastic! The show this Christmas was indeed a Showcase of colour and movement. This was the second performance that we have covered and we learnt a few tricks after the first. We got Sam and Steph (the FlexDance organisers) to reserve three seats for us in the centre of the front row so that we could position a camera at dead centre without blocking the view of any of the audience. We also took a feed direct from the auditorium sound system, to get a clean sound recording as well as using microphones to pick up the audience applause. Overall the lighting levels were a lot higher this time too. |

| For multi-camera use we are now using an iPod/iPhone app called MovieSlate. This allows us to accurately frame-sync each of the cameras which helps enormously in the post-production editing phase. This all made for an even better production and we’re sure everyone will be very pleased with the results. The DVDs will be ready early in January 2011. |
